Tips from pregnant brides to pregnant brides to be! Please!

I'll be pretty big-ish by our wedding day.

Is there any tips you ladies could give me that you couldn't have gone without on your wedding day?

My first idea would be to buy flats to ensure I don't fall as my dress is pretty big and my bump will be 24 weeks by then.

def take flip flops if you plan on dancing i was about the same as you and to be honest it wasnt as bad as i thought it was gonna be my adreniline kept me dancing all thru the night tho i did pay for that the next few days...waterproof mascara because wedding day hormones and nerves and baby hormones dont mix too well lol im sure the same could be said for every bride tho...just relax it'll be the best day of your life (well until the LO comes and steals that title) xx

i've seem some really nice ivory satin converse style trainers/shows in the wedding shop making my dress, i am seriously considering them as will be 25 weeks at our wedding hehe

Ask your photographer to plan the photos in an order to give you a sit down in the middle! I was 32 weeks when I got married, and it was the photos that did me in. I didn't have flat shoes - so I took them off and had bare feet most of the day!

Re-check your menu to make sure there are dishes you can have - smoked salmon and rare meat seem to be quite common at the moment! Check how comfortable the seats are - if they are hard you might need to sneak a cushion in.

And most importantly - unless you have a specific maternity wedding dress, get the fit checked as many times as you possibly can.

I was going to go for a sleep but I'm worrying about the dress so I'm going to go tonight for a fitting to see what can be done with it. It HAS to be this dress, but it has a corset back so thats fine - it's just the skirt that's the prob!
