TMI ALERT! How long before ov'ing does EWCM appear?

Hi all, bit of a stupid question I guess, but you don't know unless you ask right? Anyone know how long after the 1st appearance of egg white cervical mucus do you actually release an egg? According to my menstrual cycles (which are kind of irregular) I'm averaging at 37-38 days, so my reckoning is I ovulate on roughly CD 24/25/26 and I'm guessing EWCM will make an appearance shortly before and during that window.

I'm on CD 13 today, so imagine my confusion when I discover loads of EWCM this morning... If I was on a normal 28 day cycle I would expect them around now, but now I don't know whats going on!! Any help would be greatly appreciated

I usually get EWCM starting a couple of days before I ovulate and sometimes on the day of. Maybe you are Oing early this cycle? I would DTD just in case!

That happened to me last cycle. I usually have 33-35 day cycles with o on cd 22/23/24 then last month ewcm on cd 10 and no o when i expected. Started af 2 weeks earlier than normal. Had a 26 day cycle. Get to bd'ing is what I say I missed my egg hopefully you don't miss yours

I had this last night but not now so idk if my body is trying to get ready to O or just the epo I'm taking!? U should bd just in case. I can't get my donation till Wednesday

Hi hun I'm in the exact same boat as you. I have 36-38 day cycles and usually ovulate on or around cycle day 24 but on cycle day 18 I had alot of EWCM. I started to DTD straight away and also started OPK's early too just incase I am ov'ing early so you could try doing this too I haven't got a positive OPK yet so I'm guessing it was just a glitch in CM
