So I was checking my cp [tracking for ttc] and found a rather large lump on my cerix.... right at the opening. I cant get a doctors appointment til next week and I'm terrified to ask dr. Google. Anyone know what it could be? Didn't have it last cycle. It's probably, by feel, at least the size of a grape and is hard.
I've got myself all worried now :nope:

I have a cervical polyp, I never knew about it until late pregnancy when it grew to 4cm long! Could that be it? I'd still get it checked though either way any abnormality to the cervix is worth checking! (although they still refused to give me a smear test!)

It sounds like a Nabothian cyst to me. They are hard and smooth, and come and go from one cycle to the next. They can be really tiny or quite large. They're just blocked mucus glands on your cervix and are completely normal.

I work in a pathology lab and the uterus specimens (removed for other reasons) I see almost always have them to some degree. You'd never know you had them if you weren't checking your CM - I found one a few times when I was temping/checking CM.

If you are worried, however, or you have any symptoms (bleeding, pain, abnormal discharge) go and get checked out. Better to put your mind at rest than sit and worry.
