TMI question

Earlier today my dp was having pains in the pelvic area the next morning after inserting something just a few inches into the vagina. She said there was a little bit of blood after insertion, but it was probably just from tearing the hymen a little bit.
The pains she was having today lasted about 2 hours and were like ovulation pain she said, even though she finished her period about 4 days ago. She's made an appointment with the doctor to get a pelvic ultrasound. We're both very worried about this though. Does anyone know what could have caused the pain?

it could be as simple as a urin infection i know people myself included that have said sex is painful when they have had a uti!
i hope it is that simple

Yup, pain in the abdomen have penetration can be the sign of a urine or vaginal infection, maybe even something as simple as thrush, so tell her not to worry xx

As the girls have said, that will probably be it.
Worth going to the doctors just to make sure.
