tmi...rectal bleeding

I had a c section 8 weeks ago. Yesterday I went to the bathroom, number 2, and there was a lot of bright red blood. Like alot! Could that be related to the c-section at all?? Internal hemroids maybe??

Sounds like it's from your csection. I've had bleeding hemmoroids before but not a huge amount of blood with them. Like a light period, but not large amounts. Have you still got the postpartum bleeding? Or is this out of nowhere?

Nope no other bleeding for over a month, this is out of nowhere

Sounds like hemarroids, I have them and right now being nearly 37 weeks pregnant with my second they are awful. Went to the toilet the other day wiped and one burst and bright red blood covered the tissue. Gross right. Just make sure when you go to the toilet not too wipe so hard and eat plenty of fibre

Could also be an anal fissure rather than heammhorroids (sp??). I got one in my first pregnancy that still has never healed properly (mainly due to another pregnancy so soon!). But I had a lot of bleeding one day during my first pregnancy and also for a week or so afterwards because I was just struggling to go to the loo so much. Sorry for tmi question but were you pushing hard? My doctor have gave me an ointment to help it heal and a stool softener to help me "go" without making it bleed and burst open again.
Definately go and get checked so you can get some treatment and confirm what it is.
