I am only 6 almost 7 weeks but have already gained 2-3 lbs:saywhat: I can't believe it. Honestly I( have been snacking a little more than usual and my five day workout week has been cut to about 3 -4 the last two weeks but I am def. getting back on the ball!! What is the average weight gain for the first Tri? At least if I know that I can try to spread it evenly over the next 5 weeks:rofl:

I did the same thing with in weeks of being pregnant. I was up 5 lbs, but weighed myself last night and have lost 2lbs. I don't get it, I have been eating loads!

I gained 7lbs in my first 3months because I was on a strict diet before and now I just eat what I can when I can. Usually it's chocolate! LOL

Honestly I'd say just try not to worry about it too much! You sound like you are really fit and healthy and so you're probably really intune with what your body needs and can stand anyway. I think I've put on a little bit but that's just because I am making a concerted effort to eat something, no matter what it is, at least 3 times a day! I've noticed that I'm making slightly healthier choices (ie instead of a chocolate bar, I ate a tracker bar this morning!) but I really do think that your baby will tell you what it needs and what it doesn't! yesyes.

I have put on weight which i was really pee'd off about! but MW said it could be water retention or something. I have been a bit of a pig tho since finding out LOL will have to get back on my treadmill tonight me thinks!!!

I want the big bump but want to make sure i dont just look fat LOL which if i carry on eating the way i am i will do!

I have also gained weight. . . .about 4 pounds and I'm 6 weeks !! Ugh. I haven't changed anything that I'm eating . . well except that I'm addicted to sauted eggplant, zuchini and yellow squash!! I can't figure it out. ;o) Hehe. I wouldn't worry about it though! Just be healthy ;o)

I wouldn't worry about it.. I gained 10 pounds my first month  !! But then it has evened out, to where right now I am at a normal weight gain for my date.. I wouldn't stress it and just let yourself gain normally. Its not like you can diet or anything and you really shouldn't deprive yourself ANYTIME.

i had only put on 1.5 kilos at the time, but when i was 8 weeks pregnant i looked like i was 6 months lol i was really bloated (i drink alot of water and although the doc sed it was good i drank that much) and it hasnt gone away im nearly 12 weeks pregnant now so we'll see hwat happens...i definately think people are noticing now lols

i personally dont care what I look like. As long as I'm eating healthy foods, and baby is getting his/her goodness that who cares if I put on a few more pounds - I can concentrate on loosing that when I'm running after a little one, not now.

I think geing pregnant is one of those times when you dont need to worry about gaining weight, unless it seriouslt affects your health. If you are active anyway you will probably snap back into shape easily anyway. My mam has had 6 kids and is a size 8 and she is a really active person.

Eat what you want, when you want, after all you have another person growing inside you.

Enjoy being pregnant. x

I've gained about 10 lbs so far and I'm only 13 weeks. :hissy: I'm not even eating all that much either! I was very self conscious in the beginning but at this point, I dont really care! Its all for a great cause!

I used to be really strict with my weight (which is hard, because Im tall and a DD cup) but recently Ive just let that go out of the window. I used to go to the gym 4-5 times a week and now Ive only been once since september. Ive put on a lot of weight, but as long as I can get rid of it at the end I dont mind.

xxx

I'm 12 wks and I haven't gained any weight at all. In fact I've lost a couple of pounds. I thought that by now I would have gained something at least. I haven't been sick or anything and I'm eating more than normal. Strange :-k
My BBs are bigger and I've got a definate bump so it's even more strange.

Well I dont see the 2-3 lbs I gained so what I look like is not the issue but I certainly dont want to gain 1/3 of my weight the first 3 months keep in mind you wont be running after a little one for at least a year after birth
