Hi ladies,

I've been TTC since April 2011. I had a mc in September 2012 following having an HSG and not knowing I was pregnant (I bled at the time of my period).

Following the erpc I'm now on my 4th cycle. They've been pretty regular at about 26 days but I've been spotting before AF but in the first cycle it was 4dpo, the second it was 6dpo and the third cycle just gone was 8dpo so things seem to be improving there.

At the time I had my HSG I was told there was a potential mass in my uterus and left tube blocked but since finding I was actually pregnant the dr can't confirm if this is the case or not. He said at my follow up 1st October that we should try straight away and had booked an appointment for 17 January 2013 he hoped we wouldn't need....but we do!

He said next step would be lap & dye but I'm a bit loathed to do it since my cycles getting back to normal etc. I'm thinking of asking for another 3 months to try naturally to see how we get on. What do you think? Should I just go for the lap? I'm only 28 in march so still young enough but it's hard when you had it and it was taken away and when you want it so bad!

Thanks for reading

Hi, I'm sorry for your loss, I just had a lap and dye yesterday, wasn't too bad, I just reacted badly to the anaesthetic and was quite ill, today just feeling quite uncomfortable
My results were good, there was no endo which was expected and tubes were open so good news, just doesnt explain why not getting pregnant but my cycles can be up to 75 so looks like just a hormone problem

I would say go for the lap but also worth waiting 3 months to try naturally, if unfortunately you dont get a bfp then go for the lap, that way you will have all the answers you need before starting trying again or any treatment that may be needed

Good luck with everything
Xx
