I've been seeing an OB and I'm almost 25 weeks along. I decided I wanted to meet with a midwife because I want to give birth naturally. After doing a lot of reading and research I've learned that giving birth naturally with an OB at a hospital is very hard. As they put time restraints on birth and other medical interventions such as not letting you walk around, eat or drink, and fetal monitoring. So I guess my question is do you think being 25 weeks already is to late to switch to a midwife? Still going to be giving birth in a hospital just with the midwife rather than the OB. Thanks in advance ladies!

Nope its not too late :)
I actually know women that have switched past full term before!

I switched from an OB to a CNM with my first at about 28 weeks.

It's never too late! My best friend switched in 3rd tri with her first and planned a home birth with only a few weeks to go. She had an amazing birth and is having another home birth with a midwife with #2 in a few weeks. Do it! Midwives are great. I can't imagine birthing with an OB.
