To Lighten TTC Up! The thing we have done in our quest for children

I used to be really careful making sure I opened tge bathroom cupboard quiet ly, putting things back as I found them. Now I don't care!

I even have a stash of used OPK's in my purse pocket so I can compare the new ones!!

I've done it!

This is not a thing I do per se, but it is the funniest thing I can remember relating to TTC.

When I came off the pill, we originally said we would use condoms and wait for a while, however, the first night we BD'ed after coming off the pill, after getting the condom out of the bedside drawer and putting it beside us on the bed, we decided to go ahead without it, and start TTC straight away.

Things went on as they normally do, and we went to sleep. I vaguely heard OH moving about in the night, getting up to go to the loo.

In the morning, I got up and needed to pee. I opened the bathroom door, and sat on the loo seat was the condom. It must have been stuck to his butt when he got up in the night.

I LOL'd so hard I cried!!!!

Poor OH! If it was mine I probably would have chronically reminded him of it with masses of giggles.

I'm using a leftover disposable cup from a barbecue this summer. I think it's 16 oz. It's ridiculously huge, but hey, I already had it. I just rinse it out and reuse it. It's transparent, too, so I have to tilt it at just the right angle to make sure I'm not dipping too far into it... I can't even imagine using a shot glass, I have enough trouble with my giant cup!

Poor DH has noticed the signs of testing when he's home. He'll see me use the bathroom and creep back in there five minutes later. "What are you doing?" "Nothing...." "Really?" "Wasting another test..." He doesn't object to the daily testing, but I'm pretty sure he thinks I've lost it. He might be right...

Thank you. Sadly I don't think I ovulated - I've been taking progesterone (norethisterone) to bring on AF after a course of 10 tablets - and I think that's what caused the temp spike. I had 3 days of low temps after two positive OPK's which I now think were false positives. Booooo!
