I'm scared of going to the toilet now because it's so sore and I'm there for quite a while! I've been living off fibre and stuff and it's just not working! I daren't tell my doctor or midwife
Try not to sit there for too long, or strain as you can get piles. Try taking a warm bath.
Hope it's sorted soon, as it's not nice. Don't be worried to tell your midwife, they hear much worse all the time! plus once it gets to the end of your pregnancy/giving birth, you don't have much dignity left lol.
The Japanese method has always helped me. When you're on the thrown bend forward as if you were trying to touch your toes, then proceed. Sounds strange, but it has helped me.
ETA- I definitely think you should tell! Chances you are probably not the first to complain to them about this problem!
This sounds weird and it may only be me it helps! lol
but before i even got pregnant i suffered from constipation for as long as i can remember! and it seems to help crossing my legs and leaning forward, worth a try!
omg you poor thing, i know EXACTLY how you feel..............im the same.....someone told me about prune juice.....apparently its really good to take when pregnant and helps the digestive system....also senekot orange sachets, it says on the pack for pregnant women with constipation - can get both from tesco's.....the prune juice is with the dilute drinks LOL LOL.... try those.....also........sorry guys if TMI but try squatting on the toilet (feet on seat and bent knees) instead of sitting on it!!! lol.......we'd all be so embarrased if we ever met wouldnt we! haha! isnt it good we are so honest with each other!!! dunno what id do without b&b! xx
Was a problem over here as well. I would tell your MW, its a common complaint and shell be able to tell you what to do about it. Itlll probably be causing you tummy aches as well so better to get it sorted sooner than later!
