Hi, I'm new to these ttc forums, I am 35 and my husband and I have been trying for about 8 months. I started taking vitex at the beginning of the month (I took it in my mid-20's and it really helped my pms symptoms) but I also want to look into taking wobenzym n as well, as anyone taken these two together? Is it safe? The wobenzym is just enzymes that already occur in your body, but I've read wonderful things about them... I have low AMH (.7) and I am wanting to improve that number.

Thanks!

Welcome! I have never heard of wobenzym n & am really intrigued. I have done a lot of supplement research and have never come across this one. I also am concerned that I may have immune problems. I've gotten my dr to do some immune testing, but they haven't done it all. I really want to make sure that nothing is standing in my way when I move on to IVF.

How did you hear about wobenzym n? Do you have immune issues?

I'm afraid I can't really help you on whether there will be problems if the two supplements you mention are taken together. Vitex is mild, I'm not sure how mild the enzymes are.

I know that vitex can really be of help for certain ladies. What pms issues did it help you with years ago? My sister is having trouble ttc and gets quite bad pms. This could be something I recommend to her. I've also considered taking it. Now I'm considering taking both vitex and wobenzym n!

Hi Thanks! I haven't started taking Wobenzym N yet, I was waiting for this cycle to end and (of course) crossing my fingers. But AF showed. I was told I have low AMH levels so I was looking to improve my eggs and came across it (through the internet) It sounds good and safe as well. I'm going to try it - it should be beneficial as long as you live a healthy life. I really want to get pregnant naturally (for a year) then move on... well it's almost been a year :(

I took Vitex about 10 yrs ago or so b/c my periods were long and heavy. My symptoms seemed extreme too, like bad mood, heavy boobs, fatigue, then bad cramps. It's a good herb to balance everything, but it takes a few months to work. I remember noticing a difference in about 3 months (back then) I just started taking it this past cycle, when I found wobenzym N.

Natural fertility info has some good info about it. I can't post the link because I am new to this site. sorry.

Good luck with IVF!
