To Those Tww or Expecting With Cats/Dogs!

I have 2 dogs (corgi's) and a cat. I haven't seen any behavioral changes in any of them. Some animals have a sixth sense while others don't. It is entirely possible. :)

Thanks for all of your responses! It's just getting my hopes up seeing the other similar thread in the TTC boards. <3333

I got naughty this morning and tested @ 7dpo... -smacks her own hand- :bfn: of course. :/

I'm having some symptoms, but the main one i'm waiting for is sore breasts! Still don't have that. Minor fatigue, but nothing extensive. My cat has just been a magnet and i've been EATING. B|

It's ok!!! I'm 6DPO and I tested with a cheapy 20mIU Hcg test strip and got a BFN. Not even a single evap line. It's ok, girl! Keep your chin up! Hopefully we'll both get our BFPs!!

Thanks for that!! I could really use the encouragement. I just don't think dumb luck like this can happen; First EVER try on a baby and get one..? how often does that really happen?

My cycles are regular and on time. Never had an issue. :)

I would never be able to tell with my dog, a male staffie bull terrier, he has always been my dog, and has always been way too cuddly.

I could however tell he knew my mums cancer was beating her. About 6 weeks before she died, he would not leave her alone, kept trying to lay across her chest, she had lung cancer.

Just after she died, he seemed to know then too, cause he kept trying to lay across my heart, he knew I was hurting x

 I'm sorry for your loss! :C Smart dog..

Love this! My dog is very clingy already but she has been favoring my stomach lately (normally at night she's a fan of keeping my feet warm). My shy cat seems to enjoy me more than OH (her favorite) lately too.

Seems like a good start! :D

my bulldog has been wanting to cuddle more than normal

Hope hope hope!!! :D

Yep, one of our cats, a female who was clingy during our first pregnancy, is, as of today (4 dpo), following me around and purring. She usually sleeps on the bed all day. Wish she would quit messing with my head!!

baby dust to everyone :)

It couuuld~ ;) There's a few people out there who have kids the first time around~ I was an accidental pregnancy with my mum 'cause of that. LOL! But I get what you mean~ <3 sending :dust: your way!!

I'm not in the TWW but I'm lurking/stalking :haha: and saw this thread.

Just wanted to say, I had a reasonably clingy/needy dog, but I noticed an intense change before I got my bfp. She suddenly refused to be anywhere but near me, and even would stick her nose up the bottom of my shirt, trying to cuddle in my shirt with me. She still does it, as though she'll get in my belly too? She's insane.

But yes, some people do notice their animals becoming more clingy during their pregnancy, and they can be a great pregnancy test of sorts! ;D A woman I know, her dog actually peed all over the house at random (she was housebroken) and when they took her to the vet, the vet asked if there were any big changes happening, that the dog was thrown off from it... she went home, tested and called the vet and he said she probably sensed the hormones changes, and was a bit unbalanced by it. So if your pet is acting weird, it could be a positive sign! ;)

Best wishes, ladies!! xox

Well then, hopefully my animals lack the ability because there have been no strange goings ons with them! :haha:

We are NTNP (or ya know, just :sex: when Hubby feels like it). My cycles are just straightening out after coming off BCP so I'm not exactly sure my cycle length or when I ov or anything, but I downloaded an ovulation tracker app on my blackberry (I just put in my LMP and used the average 28 day cycle length and 14 day LP) and according to when it says I was fertile we :sex: a couple times....

According the the ovulation app I am 8DPO (period due approx next Thursday) and the past 5 days or so my puppy has been unusually calm (usually extremely hyper) and WILL NOT leave me alone. We usually crate her at night and the past few days when Hubby has got up before me and let her out of her crate and all that, when I get up, I find her laying back in her crate till I come out of the bedroom......hmmmmmmm

:dust: to all!
