Hello...I've posted before about this but wondered if anyones done any Christmas research on Kitchens. I've done so much and still undecided

I really want a wooden one and still torn between Mothercare Wooden Cottage, anything from KidKraft or Little Tikes Cooking Creations.

Money isnt too much of an issue as 3 people are contributing to it, but would like to know if anyone has any of the above or can recommend any others?

Thank you

Ok, I ordered the little tykes one about 3 months ago....I have ony just found the urge to build it lol! Apparently it takes about three hours lol.....I can definitely let you know more about it b the end of tonight ....hopefully lol....I chose that one because it looks build to last and also I liked the fact it has two area...the kitchen area and the laundry area....I also like the fact it is colourful and uni sex. All the other kitchens were either very girly or very bland....this one fitted the bill

I can let you know more later if you like!

Yes thats all the reasons I like that one too! I did read that it takes a good few hours to build and you have to check every drawer and knob for screws etc!
However the more research I do shows me lots of pretty pink ones that I wished my kitchen looked like...:dohh:

Good Luck and let me know how you get on!

We have the ELC Wooden cottage kitchen, it looks great and we will have had it 12 months this christmas and it still looks like new, it is very sturdy. It did take 2 hours to put together last Christmas Eve though :dohh:

Ok.....this thing comes with about twenty screws most look the same bar very slight differences ..it's fine there's a key for them just Erm .....don't o what I dd and er knock the lot over.....grrrr

I started building it t 7.30 ....took me half hour to get into the box and organise the pieces. But was disturbed twice by te toddler lol

The first hour went great, it is actually really simple to put together....then my screwdriver broke.....I then raffled around for an hour trying to find another one grrrrr this was when I knocked over the screws grrrr....I then spent 40 mins trying to get a screw out which I couldn't get out because I used too big a screwdriver and wrecked the screw then spent another 30 mins trying to ind one round the house which would fit....10 pm I finally got going again....after that it went back to bing simple and kind of fun...

I finished at 1 am....so taking away all the shitty bits time wise and baring in mind i had to treble check all the screws that I was about to use it took me with a hand screwdriver and all by myself.... 3 hours to physically build....

It looks fabulous! It is big enough for my four year old although he is very tall so he will prob grow out of it height wise but my little girl will use it omfortably for a couple of years

It looks fab, it's big but not enormous so space wise it's fine. The colours are great too

Th bits that come with it like the frying pans etc are tiny so I would get more kitchens bits to go with it

All in all it was simple to put together, fairly quick too ...would have much quicker minus the screw box incident...looks great, feels good quality and sturdy.

Very pleased!
