toddler no longer finding own dummy...

My. LO was sleeping through fine. They'd stir in the night but they'd find their dummy and sort themselves out. Now though they don't even bother looking and instantly jump up and cry. I've left them for a few minutes to see if they'd sort themsves out, but they don't. The crying jusr escalates.

I am finding the wake UPS are a killer.

Their molars have only recently come through, could the upset be from them. Psinkillers don't seem to make Ny difference.

We put several dummies in with Ruby at night, this has turned into a habit of her going off to sleep with one dummy in her mouth and one in each hand but when she stirs she can usually find one!

I could have written this post myself. i'm considering putting a nightlight in her room to make it a bit brighter so she can see her dummies. Not sure it it will work but it's worth a shot.

oooh yeh. good idea with glow in the dark dummies.

she already goes to bed with at least 3 dummies! I'm thinking of getting the gro clock anyway so maybe that'd help her find them!

Am i right in thinking you have two LOs? Jeez. If i have twins i'l get hubby to get the snip!

I expect the teething doesnt help! Are you using ibuprofen as anti inflammatory? I just used that wit the first lot of molars.

glow in dark dummies are rubbish they wear off after about an hour

my lo has about 10 in his cot and i always leave one on draws so if he cant find one I can give him on to settle him while I find the rest

have you tried a sleepty tot?

my youngest has one and so far so good! I did try with eldest but he wouldnt take to it
