I was 5 days backed up when I had my section- 4 days later I was toxic 
Fever, nausea, headaches, abdominal cramps and delirium! It can make you VERY ill! softeners, laxatives and suppositories didn't work for me- and I was so impacted an enema didn't work either- they finally gave me a solution to drink that they give patients to clear them out before having scopes done- and OMG did it work! I don't think I stopped going for a week! 
Tell your MW the truth, hon- get it taken care of before you end up sick!
