Hi ladies,

I had a check up with my obstetrician today and she does a scan at every appt.

I asked if she could see the gender (im 15+1) so she looked for a while and zoomed in and said "i think we have a pink baby".. so we were over the moon as we have twin boys already so i little girl would be amazing.. she said there definitely wasnt anything dangling between the legs and she could see the 'start of the 3 lines but theres still some development to happen'..

So.. was anyone told at 15 weeks and how accurate was it? She seemed pretty sure but of course im not going out and buying pink stuff just yet! Its 4 weeks until my anatomy scan.. not sure i can wait that long :p

I was told at my 14 weeks about DS2 .She had no doubts whatsoever that I am carrying a boy .I had my doubts though and waited till 20 weeks to start shopping for DS2.

Gender finishes development in the 16th week. So while i wouldn't go out and buy pink i think its generally pretty accurate :)

I was told 85% girl at 14 weeks. A few days later, I was given the official pink determination via my blood results.

I was told girl at 13+6 and that was correct!

Thanks guys :)

She seemed confident and is a popular ob so has had loads of experience.. 4 weeks until my anatomy scan. Hurry up! Lol

We found out at just under 12 weeks that it was a 90% chance girl. She just happened to be in the right spot to see it. Sometimes the babies just don't want to make it easy for you ha ha.

Although it didn't happen to me, my DIL told us they were having a boy around 14 weeks and I said, "How in the world do u know this soon??" But she said that her doctor was 90% sure at a previous ultrasound and sure enough, it was a boy. So congrats on a girl!

I would say it sounds hopeful :)
