I told everyone last night, and it went soooo well!! My dads OH had her daughter at 17 so i think she had a helping hand with my dad! Last night he was very quiet but iv just spoke to him and hes excited They are going to buy me a 'Silvercross' pram, any idea why they would be so specific on the make? Had my Midwife appointment today and got my scan in a week Now i can just enjoy it!

ah im so glad all went well! i was scared about telling my dad when i first got pregnant at 20 and funnily enough he was the most surportive and just said to me are you happy and i said yes and he said well congratulations then and he was realy happy. i never in a million years thought he would have reacted like that! they do surprize ya!

i think they said silver cross because they are one of the best makes!

Iv discoverd the silvercross thing, hes OH found a mothercare bag on the table with a pram catolog and he had also bought buba some socks bless him! Iv been orderd down to the isle of wight to get looked after after iv had my scan

glad it went well. perhaps suggested a silvercross thinking of the old vintage style ones (they're very expensive new) they do modern style ones aswell. Think they're just an old name thats worked hard to keep up their kudos.

congrats & I think that silvercross would have been *the* pram to have about when you were born, I remember my mum getting a silvercross pushchair for my bro's and going on about it a lot. It cost a fortune but lasted 3 little boys and years of constant abuse so was prolly worth it
