Its bloody awful to clean!!!!!!!!!!!

What am I doing wrong? It says it washes in 3 parts - so, that will be the nozzley bit, mid bit and the accordian shaped bit, tight?)

The accordian bit and handle looks so flimsy, is there a method of taking the accordian bit out and putting it back in, because even putting it back in seems to take forever.

I have a Medela single electric but it often sounds like a cow, so sometimes i could do with a quiet pump!

I really cant remember the different sections, but I literally took everything apart that would come apart when washing and sterilising! xxx

Awww Hayley it just seems like a total hassle putting it together again!

i hate mine! its a real pain, ive got the medela swing really quite

I dont know anything about the TT but I do know the Swing is waaaaay quieter than the mini! :D

The handle is attached to the accordion bit isn't it? It has a seal round it that pops onto the main bit and then the handle clicks on.

I use it...took me a while to figure out this morning (my first time) how to put the accordian bit back on. Its got a seal which goes around the top.

tis a hassle but I don't plan on using mine much! Does the job lol

I steralise mine still all together... i dont take the handle out so i thought the 3 parts were, the bottle, the ring to attache the bottle to and the pump bit... i may b wrong tho...

I have this and you can take it out. the rubber thing holding the accordian bit in comes off the plastic and clicks back in place after cleaning. erm its hard to explain but at the top of the accordian bit where the handle joins there is a rubber rim that holds the accordian in place. if u pull this off the accordian comes out and then you just do the opposite of getting it off to put it back together
xxx good luck

can I ask all you girls a question about the TT pump? What purpose do the little collection pots serve?? Sorry if that's a dim question but I have some to test but I cant work out what they are for if you pump into a bottle......

I think there meant for milk storage lisa, so u can use the bottle to feed bubs...

So do you actually need to pump into them or can you let it drip directly into the bottle? They just seem so tiny.....

U can go straight into the bottle if u plan to feed baby soon but into the pots if u want to store the milk but express again before feeding baby...

Ah right - thanks babe :hugs: With them not holding much I was a bit confuzzled by them....I would pump 4oz in a sitting and you'd need loads of them to store it in and you'd have to swap over each time you filled one :?

I dont have any little pots with mine...I just got a bottle with it and I pump into that

Yeah I didn't get the pots with it so I bought some freezer bags. I think the idea is you pump into the bottle then pour into the pots. According to the website the pots are 'ideal' because you should only pump 2-3oz at a time yet without actively pumping I can leak 4-5oz so the bags are the way forward for me. I also bought some storage lids so I can store the bottles :)

I think they are waaaay too small!! And who said 2-3 oz is the 'ideal' amount?? Mr T. Tippee?? :muaha:

Exactly! No, sorry, it's "health professionals"

Ooh if you read it they apparently sit in the neck of the bottle?

No the accordian bit isn't attached, it pops off to be washed and sterilised. The clip is the part which sticks it on. Just pull it off and the accordian bit out of the funnel. It is tricky to put back in but you have to find your own nack.

I didn't get any pots with mine either! I just pumped into the bottle and put it in the fridge.

I use a Medela swing now and it's fab!!
