Hi

I use TT closer to nature bottles and the electric sterilizer for my LO, i was just wondering what do i use to clean the sterilizer..?? I have read that i need electric sterilising tablets but i have never seen them before
I have looked everywhere..Supermarkets, chemist, Corner shops,

So Can anyone please tell me where i can buy the sterilising tablets or solution or even just advice on what you use to sterilise your Electric TT steriliser as i am now having to sit his bottles in boiled water then use sterilising tablets the smell takes up the whole kitchan, you can just about breath!!! :dohh:

Thanks

umm... the steriliser is sterilising your bottles and therefore its also sterilising the inside of the steriliser.... Feel free to correct me if im wrong ladies...

Thanks for your reply :)..I'm not saying your wrong! as if i knew i wouldn't be asking but isnt the steriliser like a kettle in time it will scale like a kettle gets limescale and it has to be cleaned with a proper cleaner or it wont clean the bottles properly...on the leaflet i got with the steriliser it does say to clean it with electric sterilising tablets...just i have never heard of them

Is that what your looking for?

i dunno. Everytime iv used mine i dry the inside with kitchen roll, iv never had a problem with limescale or anything else

aaah thanks alot! that is EXACTLEY what i'm looking for..x

I have been looking for this too!!! Thanks!!

Dont know what it is about where we live but we have to descale the kettle, etc regularly and only use filtered water.

I know that citric acid and basic vinegar is allways good for descaling anything-we use this for our bottle warmer whcih you have to use water with.

If you don't descale your steriliser regularly it can stop working according to tommee tippee. We used the boots descaling liquid.

ive been using my emergency sterilising tablets and just mixing with some water, and cleaning. i have trouble with limescale. i emailed tommee tippee a few weeks ago because it stopped working, they told me to clean it, and it worked :)

i never thought of that either but my TT steriliser i had for my eldest did stop working after 5 months..........

i use the boot liquid aswell an its brillant i would really recommed using it as it pro-longs the life of the sterlizer xx
