I hate the TT electric steriliser, too. I'll carry on using it but am thinking if I have another baby, I'll get a cold-water steriliser instead. It just doesn't make sense to me that the instructions say bottles are not sterile after 3 hours yet it will fit 6 bottles in. Show me a baby who takes 6 bottles within 3 hours, please, Tommee Tippee.

I *can* squeeze 6 bottles in by ignoring the rings on the bottom and putting in four along the back and then two in front. The edges of the front two don't touch the bottom. It's so annoying, though, you'd think they'd fit easily and without a struggle. The rings seem to be put there just to confuse people.

Also, someone mentioned only being able to fit 7 scoops of powder in the dispenser posts - I can fit 8 in if, after the 7th, I tap the pot on the worktop to compress the powder, then very gently put the 8th in, don't tap (it'd go everywhere) and put the lid on the heaped up powder. It's another annoying thing that shouldn't need a special bloody technique to get right.

And don't get me started on the bottles without markings... just glad that when we bought a box of 4 big bottles they were the new ones with the black markings (and the ink has run a little on one, after several months though). The invisible markings on the little bottles absolutely do my head in.

And the variflow teats - I've lost count of how many we've got through because the cross splits after a while and makes the milk absolutely pour out. He refuses size 2 and size 3 so my hands are somewhat tied. Grrrrrr.

mine does the same! really annoys me! i can only fit 4 in without them all being squashed! i have fit 6 in but there all squashed together with lids all over the place its stupid really! xx

I had that problem with mine! I think they designed it for standard bottles and not their own! I had Tommee Tippee bottles and a Tommee Tippee steriliser and I could only fit 5 Tommee Tippee bottles in there, but when I changed over to Avent bottles I managed to get 6 in there! xx

I use Avent bottles in my Tommee Tippee steriliser too!! lol I do also have closer to nature bottles but don't use them much due to lack of space in the steriliser..... also, why don't they allow space for the LIDS???????

I had that problem with mine! I think they designed it for standard bottles and not their own! I had Tommee Tippee bottles and a Tommee Tippee steriliser and I could only fit 5 Tommee Tippee bottles in there, but when I changed over to Avent bottles I managed to get 6 in there! xx

I use Avent bottles in my Tommee Tippee steriliser too!! lol I do also have closer to nature bottles but don't use them much due to lack of space in the steriliser..... also, why don't they allow space for the LIDS???????

Thats what I thought!! If you put more than three bottles in there is no-where to put the kids
I think the steriliser I got (it was on offer) is for the pre CTN bottles coz I now see that the CTN steriliser is bigger and round,i assume so the fat bottles fit in?!
As for the powder pots,i can fit 8 scoops in.you do have to tap the pot though so the powder goes down.what annoys me more is that you cant use them in the bottle with more than 8oz of water coz it makes them overflow!! And iv never had the spout fall off with the lid.i have trouble getting them apart to clean them.lol!!

I have it and I hate the way you have to fiddle with the lid to get it to stay on and cover properly. I use NUK bottles though so i have no issues with them standing inside

Im not surprised you dont have room to put the kids in there, although this would make keeping thier bums clean easier
