Tommee Tippee storage lids

We have been unpacking our tommee tippee bottles and steriliser in preperation for our new arrival

I noticed that there weren't any lids included with the bottles to put on before mixing the water and powder.

Had a look online and I see they sell packs of 3 storage lids.

Wondered who had brought any? do you really need them for mixing or storing bottles etc?

The steriliser came with 2 small bottles and we then brought 2 boxes of standard bottles - they are all CTN ones, but none had lids?

Not sure if its the design and you dont need them or whether I should by some???

you dont need lids/caps with the closer to nature bottles, i have them and the lid stops the leaks when shaking - have had no problems with them at all x

I have 3 CTN bottles but with no lids. what r they used for? My bottles only came with bottle caps

I have found them a life saver! I bought 8 so that i am never without. You dont get dry formula stuck in the teat when shaking the bottles, there is no risk of the bottles leaking in your bag and if you are storing milk or water it saves space to stack them on top of one another with the lids.

Not got any and never felt like I needed them. Never had any leaks or anything

just to add the lid of the bottle stops any milk coming out when shaking mixture x

i thought the lids were for storing (.Y.) milk if you've expressed?!

Well I found a seller on ebay selling packs of 3 for £2.50 so brought some - then if I find them useful they are there.

Think Im just presuming I need them as the bottles used for DS nearly 11 years ago (!!!!) all came with little plastic caps to be used when shaking up formula. Baby stuff certainly has moved on!

Hi does any know where I can just buy the caps, I have lost 2 really need them, not the lids I didn't use them or have any need for them
