i think im being really thick here but i got Sophie some 2nd stage teats as it says to use from 3 months on, which she is, but she is sucking the teat in???? i thought that happened when the flow wasnt fast enough yet she doesnt suck the teat in with stage 1? do i go back to using the stage 1s?? confused!!

What about trying the variflow?

Hollie is on stage 2 now and she sucks it in but then she also sucked in stage 1 teats too. I have some variflow that I bought before going on to stage 2 so will try them.

Daisy does this too, I read on the tommee tippee site that it's something to do with the valve or silicone. I can't remember  but they definitely said it happens loads and I don't *think* it means you need to move up a teat.
I can't link because I'm on my phone, but if you go on the TT website and then go into advice and then FAQs (it's in the menu along the top on the very right), there's a bit about bottles and teats xx

hi, check the vent isn't stuck closed when it happens. this will often collapse the teat in on itself when your lo is trying to feed.

i moved up a teat size when my lo was getting impatient with her bottle (ie banging the bottle with her hand and just generally being fidgety).

Squeeze the valve to make sure it's open & working. If it's blocked, the teats will go inside.
