i got some tablets from asda thant helped mine and some strepsils

I used to gargle salt water and take paracetamol regularly when I got tonsillitis. Make sure you drink plenty too. If it doesn't clear up after a few days, it might be a bacterial infection, in which case your doctor may prescribe antibiotics.

I feel your pain I had a bout of it over Xmas and new year. Penicillin and orange juice were my saviours.x
