Noah is 13 months old adjusted 10months, he has just started "wanting" to eat solids. The issue is he only wants to eat potatoes or what I'm eating. Is it really bad for him if he eats carb's 3 meals a day? I sneak in some veggies by mashing it together but I'm worried about the potatoes, but I don't want to stop because the eating by mouth thing has been a HUGE struggle.

I don't think it'll do him any harm, is he still having lots of milk? I think it's more important to get him eating then worrying about what he's eating. Just keep offering different foods, Kaya always gets what we're having for tea, usually she only really wants the beans, but other times she'll polish off the lot.

No contrary to popular belief carbs are good for you! People only think they are bad because if you eat them then vegetate instead of burning calories they end up as fat. But they are excellent for a growing baby, especially one on the move. Add cheese and veges into mash - or even fish
