DH and I agreed on our names ages ago:

Boy: Wesley James
girl: Eden Lilly

but yesterday DH suggested Jasmine for a little girl and we both love it. The trouble is that the middle name of Lilly is set in stone as that was my grandma's name. Is it weird to give her 2 flower names?

To add to the issue,, DD is Olivia Rose (Rose being after DHs grandma)

is it too weird?

I think Jasmine Lilly is lovely, flower names are pretty and so girly, I dont think its too much, if you like it go with it is my opinion x

I think Jasmine Lilly is nice. I wouldn't even really think about the 'flower theme' if you hadn't mentioned it. If you love it, go with it!

I tend to find it to much to combine 2 flowers (Daisy Lily etc...) or a color and a flower (Scarlet Rose etc....) but I know people that have done both (Violet Poppy etc...) it looks a little silly imho

both Jasmine and Lily are pretty names though

I think Jasmine Lilly sounds just fine together! I wouldn't have even thought of the 2 flower connections as personally I think of the scent Jasmine anyways. It's a nice name that hasn't been used in a while

Both jasmine Lilly and Eden Lilly are lovely :)

It's a lovely name, don't think it's bad that both flower names! x
