Hello ladies,

I just got my BFP on Sunday (2 dark immediate positives on Sunday and one dark immediate positive yesterday). I was taking airborne chewable vitamins over the weekend because I was congested and not feeling well. I never took more than the suggested dose (4 chewables at a time) and I don't think I took more than 4 a day. It's possible I took the recommended dose twice on Saturday but I can't remember. I didn't know I was pregnant yet. The label says not to use while pregnant and to consult a physician.

Has anyone done this before? I'm worried!!!!!!!:nope:

Ya i have taken airbourne but never exceeded the recommended dosage. and i thought airbourne is basically just a immune system booster, like a big shot of Vit C, how can it be not good when pregnant? oh man, now u got me a little worried too......... anyone has any idea?

I can't imagine this could do any harm. Airbornne is really just a vitamin with high dose vitaminC. Many, many medications and such say not to use when pregnant because there haven't been any studies done on pregnant women to prove safety (as opposed to it actually being unsafe). You could check in with your doctor for peace of mind. Hope you have a fantastic pregnancy. Congratulations!

Thanks! I think the threat of a vitamin A overdose is what has me worried. I'm hoping that I'm just over-analyzing and worrying too much. I just won't take it from here on out.

If you took it really early in your pregnancy i doubt it'll be an issue, especially if it's just a vitamin.

I think you're fine!! I was taking loads of ibuprofen (bad sinus pain), and even took some of my prescribed Ativan. My dr wasn't worried at all. Congrats on your pregnancy!!

I was on pain killers from dental work that should definitely not be taken during pregnancy. I found out the very next day. My midwife said it was too early to cause any issues and not to worry about it. If that doesn't cause problems, the airborne should be fine.
