Good morning! So I need your ladies help! I'm not exactly sure when I ovulated but am expecting AF today or tomorrow. The last couple of weeks I've been extra tired, I've had mild low back pains, and my breasts are extremely swollen and tender. My bf has even mentioned how much bigger they look. I decided to take a hpt (an E.P.T.) about 4 days ago. It clearly came back negative. I took another one the next day and within a couple of minutes got a thin blue vertical line. I wanted more confirmation so I went to the store to get a "good" test and cam back with a Clear Blue digital hpt. I took it first thing the next morning. It took about 3 minutes to get results and said Not Pregnant. I've read mixed reviews about taking the strip out, but I did anyways. And there was clearly a thin blue line like the one on E.P.T. I don't know what to think!!

I've posted a picture below of the test strips.
The bottom strip is the very first one I took. No blue line in the middle (maybe an evap?)
The middle strip is the Clear Blue digital (third test I took)
And the top strip is the EPT test that looked positive (second test I took)

Please please please tell me what you think!!

I'm in exactly the same position. Think the :witch: was due yesterday! I got what I thought was a bfp on a clearblue plus then digi says not preg :/ I've read loads about false positives on blue dye tests. Have a look at my thread "my big fat false bfp tweaked" your test looks exactly like mine! I'm still hopeful for a bfp as af has not yet arrived nor do I feel like she is on the way! I'm hoping that your test as well as mine is just a very faint bfp for a late implanted bean! Keep me posted about how you get on :)

Yeah they're super confusing!!! Keeping my fingers crossed for the both of us! I'll definitely keep you posted...let me know too!! :winkwink:

They are all evaps hun :( The line is off centered and super thin.

Yeah you're probably right! I was just confused because I've read evap lines are not colored and usually happen after the slotted time has elapsed. I read all 3 tests within 2-3 minutes. I just started having reddish discharge (tmi...sorry!) so I'm sure AF is on the way! :witch: just frustrating that those tests are prone to such awful malfunctions! I'm never using blue dye tests again!

Thanks for the help :) GL to you all! :dust:

I don't want to get your hopes up, but my positives on EPT's looked like those, even though I've heard evaps look like that as well.

Clearblue digi's take a lot longer to register "pregnant", I didn't get a positive on one of these until well after AF was due.

Good luck!

Get a FRER! That will tell you for sure. I read that you're not supposed to take apart a digital because digitals almost always have a second line, they don't work like the regular ones.
