okay so I was wondering if there was a place on here to just talk or maybe thats what im doing now. I am soo frustrated with ttc. my husband and i have been trying for 2 1/2 years I have pcos and have had ovarian drilling done in august 2009 and have been on metformin for almost 8 months. But then my obgyn lost his license for buying illegal birth control. I never got to go on clomid and am trying to find another obgyn but it is sooo expensive to keep reestablishing drs ( was seeing someone before my last obgyn but they wanted money up front be fore they would do the lap so I had to switch) and I dont know I think im losing my mind!! My period still isnt right after the surgury. My cycle is like 54 days sometimes and 40 something the next. I guess I was wondering how long did it take to get regular after the surgery and does anyone have any good advice?

I havent had ovarian drilling yet, but I know it tends to only be effective for a short space of time before the cysts return to how they were. how much metformin are you on?

im on 1500 mg a day metformin. im over weight but you wouldnt know it looking at me . ive lost 20 pounds cuz i thought that maybe it would help but its soo hard to lose weight!! I heard that I only had a short period of time before the cysts grew back but my dr never went into that and silly me i didnt think to ask.
