Totally manic tonight

My 5-1/2 week old is just nuts tonight. First she was starving, now she's wired, grabbing my hair, waving her arms, and jittering all over the place. I've tried holding her chest to chest which usually calms her. No go.

I think she's trying to poop, and not being able to is upsetting her. Or she's been possessed by aliens...also possible.

Possibly possessed by aliens. Or overtired? Could you strip her down to her nappy, take her to a dark room and play some soft music for her?
