toys downstairs

just wondering what everyone is doing with LOs toys that are already downstairs? my living room is tiny and at the moment stuffed in it are

: waybuloo sofa, megabloks table and big bag of megabloks, one overflowing toy box, laugh and learn chair, toystory ride on, big turtle shape sorter, mamas and papas rocking lion, and a doggy vacuum amongst other bits and bobs, im planning on putting them ALL in LOs room tonight before bed so that we have room for his new stuff and so he doesnt get distrcted by them when opening his presents! just wondering if anybody else is doing the same? xx

i had a sort out recently in anticipation of the new christmas toys coming. I packed away all of the really babyish toys and put them up the attic ready for next baby and tonight i will put a few toys upstairs.

to be honest i think there will just be toys everywhere we've got her some big things with nowhere to really keep them i think things will just have to line the perimeter of the room but hey its all good fun. The lounge looks like a bomb has hit it as soon as she wakes up and goes down to play anyway

sounds like my living room hahaha, my OH said we were allowed 1toybox and only as much in it so the lid still fits on and 2 big things, needless to say iv ignored him ijust bring more and more downstairs and hes goes mad theres loads big stuff in his room too, he has a sofa in his room and i keep thinking we will go play in his room in the day but i always forget to x

arhhh.
My LO is still only (nearly) six months!.
We havent really bought her many toys up to yet!. She has a few faves, but that combined with her swing, high chair etc etc do me no favours.
We have a 18x 13 living room, and with 4 adults (BIL& S live with us) so there really isnt much room!

I rekon im just gna shove everything in our rooom. and then after christmas have a good tidy through!

Mine are older so all toys in room apart from lego which is downstairs, When they were little I would have a massive clear out x

They get put into their rooms at the end of the day to clear some space.

I had a big clear out a couple of weeks ago. My DH said about the 1 toy box rule. I just went out and bought a bigger box

i had a big clear out and all thats in the living room just now is one overflowing toy box and the bounce and spin zebra and the toy box will get put in her room tonight the zebra is an early christmas present so ill leave it out if theres room

I have no idea Think Im gonna put the big toys that are already in the living room into my bedroom lol Im the same though small living room overrun with toys

I moved all the big toys into the conservatory when the kids were out this afternoon. We still have the toy boxinthe living room with a couple of bigger toys sat on top of it though

I had a sort out last month and one last week all there old stuff will go up in there bedrooms and there new ones will be downstairs xxx

i too had a sort out a month or so ago (at home) xmas eve we just moved all her other toys into the other living room (at my mums) to make way.

when we finally go home after staying here at my parents, i always leave half her toys in the living room with her little play area and then the rest in her room. i'll have a big sort out and get rid of quite a few of the older toys i think, otherwise we're not going to have room to live

morgans to little to just go upstairs and play so yep are living room is like a play zone , and its tiny aswell, ive had to move some toys on the landing upstairs

plus ive just sent a mega block bag/ and bricks / waybaloo sit and ride toys to my mams cos hes already got these at home

We have a really big living room (like an open plan dining room attached) but we use the dining room half as Tegan's play room as she can't get up the stairs. There is LOADS of toys in there now including her own TV as we bought a new one yesterday.. I have no idea what we'd do if we didn't have a living room this big, apart from be cramped.

we have kept the dolls house and 1 box full downstairs seems mean puttin everything away
