Can you all please help with Scottish girls names please? A friend is due in 8 weeks and they decided to go with a Scottish name after her dh's heritage but every name she's found he's vetoed and not even made a suggestion lol. Thought I would ask so I could give her a few more options.

So far he's vetoed:
Isla
Iona
Ailith
Eilidh
Lori
Merida

Please help ladies it's really getting to her not having a name for her princess. Xx

Hi, I live in Glasgow and one of my friends called her little girl Mirren (pronounced Murren).

Another popular celtic girls name here is Einthe (pronounced Ayn-yah) although I'm not sure it's definitely Scottish, could be Irish!

Well her dh vetoed all of them as well! He is progressing though as he did make his own suggestion of Elinor but my friend only likes it not loves it but she says at least he's starting to make suggestions and at least they aren't bad ones!

I think Elinor is growing on her lol. She had a dream last night that they named her Elinor Iris and she said the baby in her dream was beautiful and it suited her perfectly so she said it's a definite contender now. Bless her, she's feeling happier today. X
