So what's your xmas day routine? Any family traditions? How have you blended any traditions from yours and your OH's families?
Although I've been living with my OH for seven years we haven't really settled into a routine yet as we have usually travelled to either his or my family for xmas. But this year, for the first time we are living back near my family and can get to work on starting some traditions of our own
My parents and brother are coming over to our house mid morning, we're all going to open presents together and I'm cooking lunch for everyone - roping in help to peel vegetables no doubt!
On the two occasions when hubby and I have spent xmas on our own at our old house we've opened presents first thing in the morning, in keeping with how it was done at both of our family homes. It'll be hard to keep our hands off until my folks arrive!
