How would you transfer sperm as the doner isnt coming to ours as feels better at his, and i feel better at ours:shrug:...so if we transport it in a little tub with a lid would that be ok if we got it home in the next 10-15mins? And then swap to my mooncup and stick it in....i heard so long as its inside in under 90mins then alls well is this true, what if my partner went to collect in a bag (still in the tub) and brought it to me.... is that good so long as careful with it? :wacko::hug::hug:

heya hun, my DH was told to take the sample up to the hosp 'under his arm!' i think you're right with the timescale though, although my memory isn't too good on exact timings!!!
i do remember reading somewhere not to keep it too hot though. Crikey, not much help really, lol, i'm sure someone will be along soon with a better answer!!!

Good luck! x

Thanks hun, ok so transport under your arm lol thats different, anyone got any other info...

We do the "collection" at home for our IUIs and then I drive it to the clinic. I think they say to drop it off in an hour or so, it usually is 20-30 minutes from the actual point... And I stick it in the waistband of my pants, they say to try and keep it against your body so the temps don't change too much.
Good luck!

Hey when i took dh two samples for SA i was told to put it up my top to keep it warm at body temperature. I also had to get there within 30 minutes so the sample didn't alter before analysis.

When OH did the SA, we were told to keep it close to body temperature and get it there within 30 minutes. I stuck the cup in my top between "the girls" and it stayed nice and warm. :rofl:

lol BizyBee, that's how I transported my DH sample to the clinic too....we were also told to keep it at body temp if possible!! xx

Oh 30mins, well there was a least 1 time my oh was swinging it around in a plastic bag:dohh:
Why do some people say that you have to wait to let it 'liquify' i really dont get it cos some say no need to wait get it straight in there :shrug:
Im sorry but im so confuzzled with the diff advice :hissy:
:hug::hug:
