So I've got a maxi cosi streety from dd 1 - it has a car seat clip in and a pushchair part

I cant afford to get another one, it was ok with dd as with the car seat in the car or buggy frame she wasn't in it for more than 2 hours tho now with having a child already walks ect this may not always be suitable , is it ok to put a tiny baby in the pushchair bit with cozy toes it lays flat and has a hood but prob not as much protection as a carry cot ?
 
If it lies flat then it'll be better than using the carseat x
 
That's what I thought- can you get newborn inserts for pushchairs do you think ?
 
I know certain makes do them for their own prams. But I have a phil and ted's cocoon which fits in to my out n about nipper (although doesn't officially clip in.).... I also had the newborn bugaboo cocoon which too fitted in to my nipper. So although they're not official, I'm sure there's cross over in brands :)
 
You need to check whether the pushchair is suitable for newborn. Some arent
 
I have just had a little look online and it is suitable from birth :)
