Just wondering which you would rather have and why,

I am looking at getting one or the other for our new home since we have a huge basement and I've wanted one or the other for awhile. I was leaning towards elliptical but lately I've been wanting to run...

Yeah but you can run anywhere - but you can't cross train anywhere

Deffo elliptical - far less boring and much better and faster results :hugs:

I am too embarrassed to run outside lol.

That's why I was leaning toward elliptical originally though! :)

I prefer the elliptical but than again I hate running

im a girl who prefers do everything in comfort of her own home.
id pick threadmill anyday, would do 1hr of running a nigt, damm did i have a good figure then haha

it depends what you want.... is that a cross trainer?

you would probably lose more weight / become fitter on a treadmill

i used to walk 2 hours a day i was well sexy!! lol. now i hate going out and about i think everyones looking at how fat i am.. so would love a treadmill!

xx

Wear a balaclava and go out at midnight Tash :rofl::rofl:
No one will recognise you then!! :hugs:

Depends on the brand/features and price range I'd think. A treadmill that can handle running (not all of them really can that well), does inclines and has a good motor will probably cost you more than an elliptical. I always prefer ellipticals as they are easier on my knees.

I had major results with a cross trainer / elliptical and hardly any with a treadmill

Elliptical are much better for your joints too x

not necessarily!
Depends on how much effort you put in.
Technically, running lifts your feet off the ground ie, works your body against gravity so will burn more calories than the cross trainer.

At the end of the day, choose the one you are going to stick st!
