Tried to make doctors apt?

So i called to make a dr apt and they transferred me to a nurses line which is a voicemail?
Im so confused. I just wanted to make an apt.

Any idea why the receptionist wouldnt just schedule an apt??

I would just try calling them again, it is frustrating how ofen receptionists just transfer you without saying anything. Perhaps if you call again she will be able to explain if you need to speak to the nurses to see how far along you are etc to see when they would schedule you in.

Are you trying to make your first appointment? My Dr.'s office always transfers me to the nurse line to make that very first appointment, because the nurse will ask you questions about your last menstrual period and whatnot to determine when you should come in for a dating scan.

Here you get directed to a voice mail line to. Just leave your name and number and they should call you back to make an appointment.

I finally got through. I was just frustrated because I didn't want to get stuck in a telephone tag thing.

My apt is next Friday! Boyfriend is trying to arrange to come :]
