trouble adding profile picture

Hi, I can't add a profile picture, even though I've now tried different sizes (within the limit) and also via photobucket. Each time it comes up with an error message 'file upload failed'. Any suggestions? I've added an avator in the meantime so it doesn't look too empty. Thanks.xx

What is the file type that you are trying to upload. Try the JPEG format....

oh is mine on now, i dont think iv done anything apart from put the aviator up but it still said file failed to upload or something!
