So I'm trying to plan a budget for us for when I move in with my OH in the summer but I have no idea what to budget for childcare for the holidays once Brady starts school in September.

He currently goes to a private nursery while I work because I can't work around school nursery times and I think that he may be able to go back in the summer holidays next year because he won't be 6 yet but I don't know about half terms and Christmas/Easter.

We used to go to playschemes when we were kids but I can't find any info about how much they cost, does anyone have any idea? (we will be living in the Medway area).

Also, if the playscheme is Ofsted registered can I claim some of this with tax credits?

Any help would be much appreciated! :flower:

Have you checked if the school he is going to have a holiday club? Most schools do. I think it's usually around 30 a day? Xx

^WSS. Fees at LO's school are £18/day if you get tax credits, £24/day if not. It runs from 8.45am-6pm, I'm not sure if there is a breakfast club option too. They have a dedicated play centre at the school and play workers so it's not like being in school with teachers.
