Hi I'm trying to get my 7 week old to take a bottle of expressed milk so that I can occasionally give him one or two so I can go out now an then to the gym or get my hair done etc he will take the bottle but only takes about 3oz he was at times fussing with it alot an only taking 1-2 oz but would then have a breast feed. So I got a size 2 teat a bit bigger and he seems better, but I've only given it him when he's really hungry a couple if hrs after last feed.
I'm worried if I've fed him an he wants more an he later as he sometimes does that he won't take much from the bottle an then be hungry, but I suppose I could leave plenty and he could be offers another bottle when he next asks for it and hope he would take a good amount then.
I don't want to go out worrying hell starve! And the fussing on the bottle thing an only taking a bit worries me but since increasing teat size he has been better.
It seems like he just takes wot he needs from the bottle then no more.
Anyone have any advice/tips?
