This is our third (and last!) baby. We have a 6.5 year old girl, and a 2 year old boy.
I am nearing 22 weeks, and trying to stay team yellow. I think the surprise will be amazing.
But I take my photo each week and compare it to my sons, or daughters pregnancy and I feel like its so obvious.

How many of you had the same gender and carried differently? Think its all old wives tales?

(21.4 with current baby on the left. 22 weeks with my son on the right.)

I don't think you can accurately tell gender by the bump shape only. I know there are some people that can look at someone and say "oh yeah you're having a girl, I can tell" or vice versa, but it is all speculation. Bumps change with each pregnancy and depends more on where the baby is laying than on gender.

My 2nd son I carried so high that I would have bet money (and a lot of it!) that he was a girl! But at our US he was most definitely not ;)

I carried all of mine high, and I had 3 boys and 1 girl. No obvious difference in my bumps.

I carried my boy really high even when I was overdue! :)
