I don't have a success story, but judging by my chart I've ovulated on my first round of 50mg

Well I just started my first round of 50mg hope it works for you!

You too! You should chart your BBT, it really helps take the wonder about whether or not you ovulated away. I go for my blood test today, but I know I O'd about 6 days ago

It's the greatest feeling ever to see that temp spike.. Especially if you never ovulated on your own previously.

Hi ladies! Not exactly a success story, but i did ovulate on my first round of 50mg last month... didnt get pregnant, but at least i ovulated! currently in the middle of round 2 right now. Hope the first cycle works for you both!!

I got pregnant on my first cycle of clomid She is now 2. I'm ttc#2 and considering using my leftover clomid this cycle. AF has literally just arrived...

I have done several rounds of clomid at 50 mg and it work really well for me. Obviously I have other complications but I think its a step in the right direction! Good Luck!

I've had two friends who used clomid after trying for over a year to get pregnant.

The first got pregnant on her first cycle, the second got pregnant on her second cycle.

There is definitely hope. BTW both of my friends are now pregnant with their second child. Both of them conceived without help the second time around.

I have pcos high bmi ttc for seven years as would not give me clomid till bmi 35 second round got my bfp,Imogen is now 15 months and I'm now 11 weeks pregnant I took my left over clomid for one month ovulated cd39 and it has stuck so far so good luck xxxx

I found this forum at random so I thought I'd give it a try.

A little about myself, I'm 34 I got married in August of 2012 to a wonderful man. We have a puppy and just built a brand new house. We also have a 15 year old daughter. She's mine biologically and I raised her solely on my own until she was 12. Last year my hubby formerly petitioned to adopt her and it was finalized. She took his name as well.

Given that we are still young, we decided that we'd like to have a child of our own. Most people think we're crazy being that our daughter is in high school, but we like being parents and we built this big house and all. So, we started "trying" as it were a year and a half ago. No more condoms, no more pulling out. Not monitoring or charting just playing Russian Roulette and hoping for the best. I had a couple of super late cycles but still haven't had a positive pregnancy test.

I started taking Clomid. I am currently on my 3rd cycle of the drug. I have hot flashes, and it makes my PMS out of this world. My hubs has even sent me to bed at 7pm a few times just because I'm such a nutcase to deal with. The first two cycles I did 50 mg last month my prog. Level was 5 the month before it was 21. This month I'm on 100 mg and am hopeful but discouraged. I mean I got pregnant once, why not now?

Any support or advice would be appreciated.

Unfortunately, our bodies change constantly. Your hormone make up may simply be different. I would suggest charting your temperatures and using Ovulation Kits. This may help you understand what your body is doing. Take that information to your doctor and discuss in detail what it may mean and what your best plan of action should be with your response to clomid. I would also get your husband's swimmers checked. If you haven't, it may be a problem with him that is easily fixed!

Hi, just found your post and thought I would share a positive story...

I have PCOS diagnosed when I was about 20yo and never ovulated on my own. When I was 28yo I went through the rounds of 50mg, 100 and then 150mg of clomid and still didn't ovulate. I then had the ovarian drilling and took 150mg clomid after first AF and got BFP first cycle!!

I now have a wonderful little girl and my DSs were conceived naturally.

Well I had no luck on my first round of Clomid now on my second round with 100mg instead of 50mg. Although I'm pretty sure I ovulated on 50mg. But doctor said to go to 100mg anyway.

I'm on CD16. I've had no cm whatsoever, until today... and at one point this morning had a sharp pain down below!?! and so the excruciating symptom spotting begins!

I think I ov'd on cd11 or 12. BD on cd10, 12 and 13 so I hope it was enough! I can't get on with the opks I'm using.
