Hello ladies.
Been awhile since i've been on! Recently diagnosed with PCOS via ultrasound.
Normally my cycles are 32 days.. more or less regular maybe give or take a few days. I had been taking OPKs and usually getting a positive around cd-16-18. Some months i didn't get a positive but still got my usual ovulation pain. My last period was aug 31st and during that cycle i never got my pain or a positive okp. According to my progesterone level it did show that i ovulated. However i never got my period again. Mid october i started on Metformin 1500mg daily, and end of october i got in with a gyne doc who also started me on progesterone 10 mg daily to try and get my period back. So i just got some bleeding ( weirdest period ever... so light and not normal for me at all). In all it was a 65 day cycle. Im temping now and continuing with the meds, hoping to now become regular again and that my ovualtions become stronger and my eggs a bit more viable with the metformin...
I just found it so weird that all of a sudden my period just stopped coming. How can you go from being semi- normal to nothing... My doctors also think its odd, but can't really answer either. She said something about everyone has triggers, such as weight gain, weight loss, stress.. ect. However i don't feel like my life drastically changed in one cycle lol.
