Hey guys! Looking for a little info on your experiences. Been TTC for 8 months with varying cycles. My doc finally diagnosed me with PCOS a few months ago and wants me to start Clomid on my next cycle. I'm very excited, but I'm not really sure what to expect. I'm on day 63 and not sure when I can expect AF. Has Clomid worked for any of you? If so, how long did it take before BFP? We are really hopeful that this will work for us.

Didn't want to read & run.
I have pcos but I've never taken clomid although I think I might speak to my doctor about it.

Good luck :) I take metformin and I have a little boy now who's 18 months old. All the best xx

I too have pcos and I will start clomid next month I too am hopeful. Plenty of baby dust to you.:dust::dust::dust::dust:

Thanks! Baby dust to you too! I'm on CD 68 now, so my doc started me on Provera to jumpstart my cycle, then I can start taking Clomid. From what I've been reading on other threads, many people vary on when they O. I plan on OPKing starting on my first day of Clomid until I hopefully get a +.

Hey ladies, I thought I would share my experience.
been trying to conceive for nearly three years.
I was put on my first round of clomid in feb, 50mg cd 2-6 and I got a BFP at 7dpo!! it sadly ended in miscarriage. FS wanted me to wait 3 cycles before starting again, I told him i wasnt willing to wait that long because my cycles are soo long and it would take a year, so June is when I will be put back on it and I cant wait, making a lifestyle change to eating healthy whole food/paleo to increase my chances. Good Luck ladies.

Kiwilove- sorry to hear about your MC. Hope this next round of clomid ends in a BFP! My cycles are long too, I know how frustrating it is waiting around. Best of luck to you!

Clomid works great for me and I have PCOS. I have been on clomid 3 times, and ovulated twice. Both times I ovulated I conceived. The first one sadly resulted in miscarriage (nothing to do with the clomid - another issue) but the last one has resulted in my current pregnancy. :flower:

Best of luck!

He didn't put you on Provera to get the cycle going? Are you on Metformin now? Good luck hon. Lots of baby dust!

Whigfield- congratulations! Sorry to hear about your MC. I hope Clomid works as well for me as it did for you!

Ditsyblond17: after i wrote my initial post, I called my doc to let them know I was on CD 60something. They put me on Provera, I'm currently on day 5 of 10. So hopefully that works so I can start Clomid soon.

:coffee:Ty all of this is so new for me. I'm nervous and excited I hope it works first I'm being very optimistic. But Af should be here next week and I'll be able to start clomid. I just started trying to conceive for about 6 months. But I'm new to baby and bump too. I was diagnosed in April with pcos. I have very irregular cycle like none if not on birth control. Provera is also needed to jump start AF. I don't ovulate and HSG was normal.:flower: prayers up for you I will definitely be posting.
