Hi I'm new so be gentle with me plz lol I've been ttc for 14months I had a hsg on Wednesday ( which was agony! Never again! Oh unless it guaranteed me a baby lol ) I ovulated on Saturday and does anyone know if I'm meant to be feeling cramps at the moment? Because I am ratty cramps And what is the next fertility step as I was in such a rush to get out of there I didn't ask! Any help would be much appreciated thanks billy

Welcome! Having a hsg is a great start (sorry so painful) were they blocked? I know if they unblock them or don't find anything either they like to see you try naturally for around 3 months before next step. But that was just my doctor. Up to you, I've learned that it's your body so you take control and fight for where you want to go next with testing etc when you are ready.

Welcome Liovec,

I feel your pain the HSG for me was agony as well.. I had one done a coupe of months ago and hated every second of it. Apparently you are 'more' fertile though afterwards for a few months - cleans everything out :D so for that little bit of hope kinda makes it worth while i think :D

I'm currently on Clomid so hoping the HSG and Clomid together helps me somehow.

As for the cramps after ovulation, not sure why you would have cramps so soon... fingers crossed its a good sign for you as you are definitely more fertile after the HSG.

Keep me updated :)

Thanks for the replies :) no luckily they were clear I called them yesterday nagging about this whole process taking so long lol it worked as they gave me a appointment on the 6th of November so really excited about that. Oh definitely I said to my husband no matter how agonising it was I'd do it another 10 times if I knew it would make us parents ohhhh fingers crossed for you I'm hoping they give me clomid on the 6th I've heard it works wonders :)

I had my first infertile checkup yesterday . Went better than I thought. We are TTC 10 months and are 35 and 44. They did a vaginal us that showed all normal. A slightly thin endometium lining, but he said I was still early. Ovaries and uterus looked good and not pcos. He gve me an rx blIoods november 1-3 and a contrast xray for me and a sa for my hubby. After that he told me biopsy. Although he said I really dont think you need any of this yet, but Im not going to make you wait 2 more months just in case. Now I just have to hope I can get off of work...

You must have a good doctor mine dragged things out for over a year! Glad all looked good for you :) I unfortunately do have pcos so another thing against us but I'm trying to stay hopeful :)

did they prescribe anything for the pcos? do you have pcos symptoms?

No they didn't prescribe anything and yes unfortunately I do x
