TTC #2 and Back Here Again...

I'm finally getting EWCM, which means I'm going to O soon! I was worried my body wasn't going to get back to normal. Didn't get a chance to do SMEP very effectively, but we will BD tonight to try and catch that egg. With DH gone tomorrow I'm worried we may miss the most fertile window - but hoping for the best!

Kategirl, how are you feeling? I know it's so easy to get discouraged, but you have more information now and are timing it better, making your odds even better than before. How many dpo are you now?

I'm feeling a bit better, but still somewhat discouraged. We're doing SMEP (we had been timing it well before, but had been waiting until closer to O since we didn't want to wear ourselves out; well, now I just want to get pregnant again and we decided we can deal with being stressed for a couple more months if it means a baby). I haven't O'd yet, I'm only CD13, but I've had some good CM and got a faint line on my OPK yesterday so I think it will be soon.

Sounds good. Keeping my FX for both of us! Have you thought at all about supplementing progesterone after you get a BFP? I've read so many stories and have a good friend who kept having chemicals and as soon as she started progesterone cream/supplements after her BFP she got a sticky. Part of me wants to start the cream if I get a BFP, but need to look into how to wean from it first. Not sure if progesterone is even my issue.

I'm officially on CD14 today and BD yesterday, so hoping that's enough. I'm potty training DS all weekend, so hopefully it's a good distraction - although it means I'm locked in the house for awhile too.. Wish DH were here so we could BD more. Afraid because we only BD CD9 and 13 that we may not have enough little swimmers waiting ;(

How are you doing, whitglass? It looks like we're on the same CD!

I'm not planning on progesterone, but will probably investigate it if I have another CP/MC.

I also had a "bad" cycle for BD; we Bd'd the day before I probably O'd, but not on or after. I'm not holding out much hope, but you never know!

Hey kategirl! I think BD the day before O is the BEST way to get pregnant. Both times I've been pregnant I only BD the day before O and not at all after. So you are definitely good with the BD before!

I was able to BD the day after O (or the day of not sure) so I'm feeling like I did all I can do at this point. I'm now at 2dpo since I think I O'd Sunday. I have AF like back pain which is strange, but not thinking much of it. How are you feeling?

I felt odd today - shivery on and off even though I didn't have a fever, tired, slightly sore throat and almost losing my voice this morning. Hopefully I'm not getting sick! I know some women say they get cold symptoms before a BFP, but unfortunately mine are too early for that.

Hi ladies

We had an MMC at 11 weeks in April 2011 but then we managed to fall pregnant with our daughter 11 weeks later! She is now a bubbly, sprightly 2.5 year old and is an absolute joy!

We've been TTC #2 for 15months now. We've had 2 more MMC's - one in January at 8 weeks (I opted for a D&E) and one yesterday at 8+4 weeks (again, we opted for a D&E). I'm going to see my Dr and ask to be referred for testing but we will be trying again as soon as possible (I doubt we will wait for my period we will likely TTC again this month) I'm praying to be 3rd time lucky!

Good luck ladies and lots of baby dust to all :flow:

Welcome, Kyliem! I'm sorry to hear about your three little angels. :hugs: I hope the next one is sticky and healthy!

hey ladies! we are also TTC #2- started trying at the beginning of Dec and actually got pregnant a lot more quickly than we ever dreamed but had an early MC at the end of Jan, got pregnant again then had a MMC at 9+5 on May 21... been trying since then with no luck. We did SMEP last cycle and will again this cycle. It took a year to conceive DS and im starting to think it is going to be that long if not longer this time...

Thank you Kate <3

I'm at the Drs this morning at 10:50am to hopefully get referred for testing and try and maybe get to the bottom of why we keep suffering loss

:flow:

Sorry to hear about your losses, ladies. I'm feeling good about this month, but I don't let myself get too excited. I can't help but pick apart my symptoms and compare them to the months that I was pregnant. I'm not the only one who does this right?:wacko:

You are def not alone in that whit glass!!

Welcome, Bug. :hugs:

Kyliem, were you able to get referred for testing?

I did :happydance: so hopefully we can get some answers. He's surprised the hospital didn't refer me and he asked if we thought we should wait but it takes us 6+ months to conceive every time so I don't really want to waste any chances so he's going to have me referred as soon as possible - I'm so glad he listened to me

I do it ALL THE TIME! I try to stop myself, but whenever I have a "symptom" I think "maybe I'm pregnant?!?". Lol, it's really bad, especially since I'm still only 5dpo so nothing now would be from pregnancy anyway. This month I'm going to write down all my symptoms in my journal so that I can compare them in future months and hopefully not get my hopes up wondering when my "symptoms" are the same as BFN cycles.

Now, I've been waking up super early the last couple mornings which is very characteristic of me the first couple weeks of pregnancy... if this were next week, I'd be reaching for those tests! :)

I'm going to take a test on Sunday (7dpo). I know it's early, but with my DD I got a positive on a digi at 9dpo, so you never know. I think testing will help me to at least not get my hopes up, and the IC are cheap.

I really don't feel like this is my month, but I guess you never know...

I do the same thing Kategirl! I've written down my symptoms from non preg cycles and pregnancy cycles so I do have something to refer to. My bbs are already behaving differently than the chemical last month - they were sore from O. Last month they weren't sore until 10 dpo and that is a typical non preg sign for me. So suffice to say, I am confused.

Is it possible that the progesterone from the chemical is making my boobs hurt more?

And kategirl 7 dpo? wow! That's awesome that you got a 9 dpo BFP. But if it's negative on 7 dpo that doesn't mean anything so don't get too disappointed if it is!!

Whitglas, I'd rather be disappointed and think I'm out and then find out I'm wrong later. I always have a much bigger fall when I think all my "symptoms" are a sure sign and then I test right before AF and get a BFN.

I get that. That's what made me test before missed AF last month. Didn't want to get my hopes up so needed to see that BFN so I could move on. So that works even if you know it's too early to get a valid answer either way?
