TTC After Depo .... VERY Confused :(

Hey Ladies (and guys)

I'm sure i posted on here but maybe not , if i did please excuse me whilst i ramble on about my story again

i'm 26 ttc after depo shot only had two last one 19+2wk ago ... but during that time i had a few bleeds (sorry TMI dont know all the terms yet) 1st - 5th jan 2010 lots of pink steaky cm with a lot of dark brown?? and the same end of jan cant remember dates for that one but was 3/4days aswell . My last proper lmp was 20th august 2009. Have had lots of cramping this week but no change in cm I'm so confused as have had so many pregnancy symptoms and i know its just depo wearing off but my head is so muddled i've poas twice .... because the symptoms have been so convincing !!!

anyone with any advice please tell me

Afraid to say it's a waring off syptom of the depo.
I had my last oneJune lat year and have only had a little spotting since the end of January. I do have Hormone issues tho.
Your best bet is to try and convince your gP to give you a full checkover to see if you are in good healthy for TTC tell him you are desperate. I have been on the Depo website their best research puts 10 months post injection running out as tehmost popular month to get pregnant. Goo Luck and PM if you need a chat

Hi there,
I had my last depo shot in July 2008, and I got my bfp this January. When I came off the shot, I had every pregnancy symptom going (more than I've actually had now that I am pregnant!), but it was just my body getting used to coming off the injection.
My periods were very irregular too, and I had no proper cycle to be honest.
I hope you don't think I'm being negative - I thought I would never fall pregnant, but it did happen... eventually.

I was on depo from January 2008 - Sept 2008. (4 shots).
When i had my last one (Sept) i was told it can take from 6-18 months to concieve! Im still trying Hoping for this month!!
My periods pretty much went straight back to normal, they were regular, every 26 days.
After 3 months (Jan 2009) i had extrememly sore boobs, sickness and cramps (preg symptoms) but when i tested i got and found out that it was just depo wearing off. I only had this for the one month and havent had anything since, just cramping near middle of the month (ovulation pain!?).

Ahh now i wondered about the cramping being ovulation pain ??? I mean i seem to have all the changes you normally have in a cycle , my cm changes all the time but then i have no af so im totally confused

thankyou for sharing all your stories ladies .... good to know there is hope after depo & also that it is a struggle . I honestly dont know why gp's dont make more of a point that it causes such heartache if you plan to conceive . I mean i should know as it took me 14months before but i had been on it for a long time , I just assumed with 2 shots my lovely old AF would appear quicker Ahhh well .... i'm just going to go with it . Think i'm teary today as My daughter is away seeing her daddy for a week

hi im new to this site but ive been on the depo since dec 2008 i had my last shot on the 29th dec 2009 im having pregnancy symptons at the min have been for about month now had a blood test its negative but have read its the depo wearing of ive not had a period since dec 2009 im ringing my gyneycolgist for advice of ttc after the depo as i have read all diff stuff about it online x
