I just wondered if there was anyone out there in the same situation (sorry for your loss if so) or have been in a similar situation?

We've been ttc for 18 months now I have v irregular cycles and dont often ovulate so had been given clomid ready to take after my HSG - amazingly we got bfp and so didnt take the clomid - unfortunately Ive had a mmc and so am waiting to try at the moment.

We went to fertility clinic yesterday and were told to wait 3 months to try and only then to think about clomid if my cycles were still irregular. Hubby and I feel like thats a loooong time! I'm 35 and its taken a lot to get this far.

anyone else had experience of ttc with clomid after mc?

Thanks :flower:

I'm not sure it's the same but I had an early MC on my first cycle of clomid. I've done 2 more cycles and a cycle of soy since. I have to say though, I can't speak highly enough of clomid. I didn't ovulate at all before that and it really kick started me. So many on here get bfp's with a bit ofclomid just to strengthen the eggies. x

Why do they want you to wait 3 months? That seems a bit OTT to me.

Surely if it was a normal MC, then you should be fine to TTC again once you have had a cycle?

the consultant said there was no scientific reason behind it, so I asked how come that's what they advise and she said it's just what they've always advised - doesnt make sense to me!

We're thinking we'll see when aunty ruby :witch: arrives and not take clomid and try a bit, then the next visit by aunty ruby - if she's as erratic as she usually is, I'll maybe take the clomid - knowing my cycles that may well be 3 months anyway

it's hard to know what to do for the best sometimes isnt it! :flower:

the TTC rollercoaster starts again!
