ttc am i on my first cycle???

we have just started ttc after coil removal last Thursday I started bleeding on Saturday and have nearly finished today is this my first cycle if so do I start counting from the first day of bleeding and roughly when do I start using the ovulation kits? X

Hi there,

It's probably a 'withdrawal bleed' rather than a proper AF - although it can vary. Some people hit the jackpot straight away, and others take a bit longer. You can count it as cycle one, but don't worry if your first cycle or two are a little variable - it's probably just your body returning to 'au naturel'.

I started charting my temp's from the time I had the implant removed, and used cheap OPKs on and off from a few days after that.
