My husband (31) and I (30) have been trying to conceive our first for just under two years. We went to the fertility doc a few months ago and got a clean bill of health (they did an sono on me and a sperm analysis on him and everything looked "perfect"). I temp, chart, do ovulation kits, etc and that all checks out ideally each month as well. We have tried all the tricks (elevating pelvis, Pre-Seed, etc). Three different times, however, I have gotten swollen and achy breasts several days before my period which is NOT normal for me. It's almost like my body thinks it's pregnant or like an egg is attempting to implant but isn't. Then, my period comes right on time as it always does. Does anybody have any insight into what might be wrong? Thanks in advance.

Since I have turned 30 recently I have noticed similar changes near the time of AF. My changes I had were spotting/brown CM about 1-2 days before AF hit (on the past 3 cycles)and I have never had that before. I am thinking its just a change going from 29-30. Also last cycle was longer than usual and I had sore nipples(so sore I couldn't even touch them) about a week before AF which has never happened. But your body can play nasty mean tricks on you and make you think you are preg. Your PMS and preg symptoms can mimic very close and sore/swollen boobs are one of the symptoms. HTH
