TTC for 20 months! And still no baby bean!

Hi All,

Me and my husband have been ttc since May 2013 and still no luck 😢 we have started talking to the NHS about IVF/ICSI and we are a bit disheartened by the long waiting list.

Has anyone got any recommendations about going privately in the Wales area?

I can't stop thinking about. It's driving me crazy!

Is anyone else in the same boat as me?

Sorry to hear you've been trying for so long, must be so difficult

How long is the waiting list with NHS? I know someone that tried going with NHS but the wait was so long she ended up going privately. She was deciding between either Cardiff or Shrewsbury the last time I spoke to her (I knew shrewsbury isn't in Wales but depending on what part of Wales you are in it could be quite close?)

I don't know a great deal on this but wanted to give you the bit of info I do know on it.

Where in Wales are you from? We live down South Wales x

Ye it is really hard to be honest. A lot of my friends and colleagues have fallen pregnant recently.

I think the waiting list is about a year on the NHS.

We are from Cardiff!
